Whistler is located in the coastal mountains of British Columbia, 120 kilometers / 75 miles, about 1.5 hours drive north of the city of Vancouver, BC, Canada. Getting to Whistler is easy and there are many options.

Driving from Vancouver International Airport / Seattle:

From Vancouver International Airport (YVR) follow the signs to Vancouver via Highway #99 (Granville Street), and follow it through the city and over the Lion's Gate Bridge, and then on to the Sea to Sky Highway #99.

From Seattle, take I-5 North to the border crossing in Blaine, WA (the Pacific Truck Crossing). From there follow 176th Street and turn west on the Trans Canada Highway #1 towards Horseshoe Bay. From there follow the signs to Whistler (Highway 99).

Or take the Peace Arch Crossing. From there use Highway 99 into Vancouver. Once in Vancouver, take Highway 99 North across Lions Gate Bridge, or Trans Canada Highway #1 north across the Second Narrows Bridge. These two routes join and form the "Sea to Sky Highway." The drive usually takes about 1.5 hours and includes some great views along the way.

Arriving in Whistler

• Approximately 2 kilometers (1 mile) past Whistler Creekside (Husky Gas Station) you will drive under a pedestrian overpass.
• Watch for the "River of Golden Dreams" sign on your right.
• Prepare to enter a left turn slot.
• Turn left at the Alta Vista neighbourhood sign onto Hillcrest Drive.
• Take the first quick right turn onto Alpine Crescent.
• We are on the left hand side 2 blocks along, at the corner of Alpine Crescent and Archibald Way.
